Post-Workshop Publications
Accepted papers are archived on this website, please see schedule and papers. We are currently exploring options for follow-up publications.
Submission Instructions (obsolete)
Three types of submissions are sought: theory, application, and demo oriented:
-
Theory contributions present novel ideas regarding representation and reasoning,
and position this result in the context of known QR theory.
-
Application contributions present the use and evaluation of software implementing QR theory
in actual real-world contexts. Evaluations can range from technology oriented (e.g. address
software functioning in operational contexts) to human oriented (e.g. address usability or
stakeholders and market related issues).
-
Demos focus on (novel) implementations of QR theory in software. They can be proof of concepts,
but also mature products. Contributions typically address the extras needed to realize the implementation.
Format:
-
Submissions must be submitted via chairingtool (see below) before the submission deadline (see Dates).
-
Submissions must be in PDF format and not exceed 8 pages, plus
one additional page for references (full paper), respectively 3 pages for short papers plus one for references
-
Submissions should be formatted according to the ECAI2024 author guidelines
-
Submissions do not need to be anonymized;
the author list and the author publications should read as they will in the camera-ready copy.
Review Process
All submissions will be evaluated and selected according to their quality, significance, originality,
and potential to generate discussion. Each contribution will be reviewed by at least two referees
from the QR2024 Program Committee. Papers may be accepted for either
long oral or short oral/poster presentation.
Accepted papers will be published as a collection of Working papers. As QR2024 is a workshop,
not a conference, submission of the same paper to conferences (e.g., ECAI, AAAI or IJCAI) or journals is acceptable.
Submission
Authors of rejected main track papers that would like to
forward their paper to QR24, please
contact the workshop organizers!
